When a friend and I had serious complications from virus attacks and dated hardware these guys came through for us in a big way. Not only did they upgrade my friend's hardware they upgraded both our software and demo'd for us at our level of understanding. Udo and his staff are our heroes! Red Dime came through for me during a very difficult time and I can't say enough about the fabulous service. Half way through my chemo therapy treatment, my old computer crashed. I depended on my computer to be able to access my "Care Calendar" and the people who had volunteered to help me. I was in a panic and unable to afford a new computer, asked Udo to try and do what he could to fix the problem. Well, the hard drive was beyond repair but Udo and his technician sprang into action and refurbished and updated another computer they had at their shop. Not only did they provide me with a "new" computer, a much needed lifeline for me at this time, they also retrieved as much data from my old hard drive as they could. Not the least of which were years worth of treasured photos of a! ll the rescued dogs and foster animals that have past through my home. All of this they did for a price that reflects their humanity and integrity. I could not be happier and more grateful. And through it all, I was never made to feel inferior for having a very limited understanding of the workings of a computer - something I truly appreciate. The best place ever !!! Great customer service :) My computer crashed because of an annoying virus, that was making its way into the main frame of the computer ( root kit) ...there was little hope for my computer ...But then a friend recommended this place and they had my computer up and running in no time. The crashing of my computer came at the worst time, I had just begun in my first week of 2-5.5 week summer classes at A.C.C. that are both online! FANTASTIC! After having some house guest this past weekend that proceeded to destroy my computer from the inside, my wife and I were in the market for a new laptop... But we werent convinced that our current laptop's blue screen was its demise. Took it to Red Dime and within 3 hours I had my laptop back in brand new shape for one of the best prices in town! The Best Place Ever !!! I am in the middle of taking (2 ) 5.5 weeks summer classes at Austin Community College, both are online classes. My PC got a virus and then my Computer crashed I was unable to even run the thing much less to do my school work. I was desperate to get it fixed ASAP, I friend of mine suggested Red Dime I took in my PC and a laptop to be fixed. They were so amazing and friendly my computers were up in running in no time. I greatly appreciate all their hard work and the customer service I received is unparalleled to any other computer service that i have ever gone too! Just want to thank you for the outstanding customer service you provided today along with the great work you did on extracting the data off the hard drives I brought in. I wasn't even sure any of it could be saved when I walked in so it was really a good day for me! Excellent service! :D Had a nasty virus on my laptop and couldn't get the thing to even boot. I went to Bestbuy and geek squad told me they had two replace the hard drive and every gig I wanted backed up would have cost me 99 bucks which I didn't have the money for being in college and just started my semester buying books and what not. I saw Red Dime Computer Service on the way home and just figured to stop by. I was in and out, picked my laptop up that afternoon, with all my files and documents in place.
